26th Annual Northern Ponca Powwow to be held August 9-11

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska will hold it’s 26th Annual Powwow August 9-11, 2019, at the powwow grounds in Niobrara, Nebraska. Grand Entries are Friday at 7 pm, Saturday at 1 pm & 7 pm, and Sunday at 1 pm. Meals will be provided one hour before each Grand Entry. Additionally, the Diabetes program will be hosting a Diabetes Fun Run Friday at 5 pm. Dancers, vendors, and spectators are all welcome to attend!

Please note: While there is construction underway to replace the Mormon Canal bridge, destroyed in this spring’s flooding, the temporary bridge may not be complete by Powwow. Knox County Economic Development has provided these maps and directions to navigate the Niobrara area this summer until the bridge is complete. Click on the image to enlarge the view.
