Angie Starkel is currently the Council Representative for District 1. Angie is the daughter of Jim and Patty (Hollingsworth) Starkel, granddaughter of Bud and Lolly (Shot With Arrow) Hollingsworth, and great-granddaughter of Geneva (Knudsen) Arrow. Angie and her companion, Dre Saunsoci, and their children reside near Macy, Ne. Angie has been active in the Tribe through employment as former Culture Director and HR Director as well as Housing Operations Manager. Angie has also served on the following boards and committees: Gaming Enterprise Board, Election Board, Law and Justice Committee, Law and Order Code Revision Committee, Culture Committee, and PEDCO. Angie’s special interest is learning and teaching the Ponca language. Angie has been teaching language classes at the last two Annual Omaha-Ponca Language Summits and is helping to develop the new language program for the Tribe. Angie is looking forward to doing language classes and events at the office sites and online in the near future and strongly encourages all Ponca members to learn their Ponca language.

This group is for PTN District 1 members and parents/guardians of PTN youth only. Members that live in other districts will not be added.
