The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska’s Domestic Violence Program is hosting a training on Missing or Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR). This training will feature speakers from across Indian Country presenting on their knowledge and experience with MMIR.

Attendees will hear from representatives from organizations, agencies, and MMIR families such as:
• Native Women’s Society of the Great Plains
• DOJ’s MMIP Regional Coordinator for the Alaska and Great Plains Regions
• Lincoln Police Department’s Victim Witness Unit
• Nebraska Tribes Addressing Violence
• Women’s Center for Advancement
