Public Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and the Draft Findings of No
Significant Impact (FONSI) are available for public review for the proposed relocation of the Fred LeRoy
Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska is proposing to repurpose a vacant corporate campus in Omaha, Nebraska
for Tribal Services, Health Services, Community Center, Transportation Center, Sweat Lodge, and
incidental uses. The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska would oversee design and renovation of the campus and
would fund the project with a partnership with the Indian Health Services.

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska completed the EA to analyze the potential environmental consequences
associated with the Fred LeRoy Health and Wellness Center, 5805 South 86th Circle, Omaha, Nebraska,
and provide environmental protection measures to avoid or reduce adverse environmental impacts.

The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the draft EA and FONSI are available for review and
comment. These documents may be reviewed on the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska website poncatribe-
ne.org. Any comments on the EA or FONSI must be provided in writing. Written comments may be
submitted through the mail to Darlene Lee, JV Project Manager, Ponca Health Services, 5805 South 86 th
Circle, Omaha, NE 68127, or submitted by email to Dlee@poncatribe-ne.org. Comments must be
received by no later than March 2, 2022.
