In food processor or blender, puree : Garbanzo beans, oil, salt, and garlic. Add garbanzo liquid as needed until pureed like baby food consistency. If this gets to water you will be adding more masa.
Scrape Garbanzo mixture into bowl.
Mix masa into the bowl one cup at a time with a spoon. Add more Masa as needed, and knead in remaining masa. Hands are the best tool! Dough should not be sticky and should have some spring in it. Cover and let sit for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
On a clean surface, put some masa down. Place dough on the floured surface and cut into equal parts OR leave full - it's your preference. Roll dough out thin (like a little more than a tortilla) - this dough will have some rise to it.
Place on parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes or until outer layer is stiff. I always bake my pizza or flatbread a little bit first before putting back in the oven with toppings.
If making pizza: Take out of oven and add desired toppings. Put back in oven.
Bake until golden brown.
