The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska is accepting bids for the construction of a new Powwow Arena and a new Kitchen Building. Both buildings are to be located on the Tribe’s Agency Grounds at 88915 521st Avenue, Niobrara, NE 68760.
Construction must be completed by August 1, 2024. The two projects have been issued as two separate projects, but the Tribe is open to both projects being built by the same general contractor. The Project(s) will be constructed under a single prime contract and will require a performance bond. The kitchen (648 sf) is a single-story wood framed building on concrete foundation and slab on grade with simulated stone wainscot, fiber-cement lap siding and a metal roof. The arena has a crow’s nest building (635 sf) of similar construction to the kitchen with a 110’ diameter seating area (concrete slab on grade with wood framed metal roof covering.
