This year we will have a Volunteer Coordinator to keep track of times, sign-in sheets and tasks assigned for each day of the Powwow. Volunteers are needed starting Thursday morning until Monday afternoon, several areas need volunteers i.e.; helping with the museum, helping with daily clean-up, helping with T-Shirt sales, helping with food preparation and serving; one meal Friday two meals Saturday and one meal Sunday. Point of Contact: Nick Mauro, 402.857.3391 who currently works out of headquarters building in Niobrara. Please contact him as soon as possible with your available dates and times and/or interests. We appreciate and encourage your involvement with this tribal function. The Powwow is the second week in August which is coming up fast, so let’s plan for it well in advance. If you are wanting to camp we would ask that you camp close to me so I can feed you and refresh your thirst whenever you might need it.
