Please join us for our annual back-to-school fair for all Ponca Tribe of Nebraska students aged 4-18 years old and their families! There will be backpacks, gift cards for school supplies, haircuts, school photos, and program booths available for Ponca students. Osni Ponka Youth Council will be distributing new socks.

July is National Minority Mental Health Month

Foraging walk! It’s that time of the year to gather some medicines. Be prepared to walk through tall grass, wooded areas, and some areas with water. Wear proper footwear and attire. Bug spray and sunscreen are recommended. We will have some on standby too! Ladies are encouraged to bring their own buckets or bags. Some will be provided. Bring a refillable water bottle! Children are welcome to come.

The Osni Ponka Youth Council will host their annual Breakfast and Bingo to honor our Elders on the Saturday of Powwow. Youth Council will serve a hot breakfast at 9 am, bingo for our Elders will start at 9:45 am, and go until all prizes have been distributed.

After the Elder’s Bingo, all Elders in attendance will receive a special 30th Anniversary gift from all PTN Entities.

Tribal Home Visiting is hosting their next Group Connection for any Native family with children living in the Lincoln/Lancaster County area. We will be doing an art project by creating family trees using foot and hand prints to symbolize members of their families. During this event, families will learn and practice family well-being.

Fun-Plex Waterpark & Rides

District 4 Tribal Council will host a Back to School picnic at Fun-Plex Waterpark & Rides in Omaha, NE for all enrolled Ponca Youth aged 0 to 19! **2 parents or guardians are allowed to come per household. There will be unlimited access to all water rides and slides, all park rides, go-carts, sand volleyball, and horseshoes. A meal will be provided. Gift cards for new shoes will be distributed.
