Join our Star Sisters Women’s support group for community, activities, and the awareness activities listed below:
January 4: Presentation on Human Trafficking in Indian Country, followed by a showing of the movie “Sound of Freedom.” Meal and popcorn are provided.
January 11 & 25: Star Sisters Group working on projects. Youth Talking Circle with Rosie Bear (18 & under).
January 18: Movie Night, “Missing.” Meal & popcorn are provided.

In honor of Human Trafficking Prevention Month, the Ponca Tribe Domestic Violence Program invites the community to a presentation followed by the showing of the Sound of Freedom. Based on actual events, the Sound of Freedom shines a light on the darker realities of human trafficking as a former U.S. government agent embarks on a mission to rescue children from traffickers in Colombia.
Food and refreshments will also be provided.
