The Osni Ponka Youth Council is sponsoring a virtual art camp for Ponca youth ages 5-12 nationwide. Participants will learn basic painting techniques, and have a painting project. Art supplies will be mailed to participants, and classes will be held online. Class is open to the first 20 Ponca youth with a complete application, and all information verified. Participants will be notified that they have secured a spot via email. For more information, email youthcouncil@poncatribe-ne.org.

The deadline to apply for Higher Education assistance for the Summer term is May 15th. As the Summer term is not considered part of the normal school year, all ongoing students must also reapply.
Students seeking to achieve their Psychiatric APRN are encouraged to apply by June 1, 2023, to receive tuition assistance from Ponca Health Services Behavioral Health.
Eligible candidates must be:
– Currently enrolled in a credentialed Psychiatric APRN program or ready to enroll for the Fall 2023 semester
– Able to commit two years to Ponca Health Services at our Norfolk site

Become a certified NWS Skywarn storm spotter, or renew your storm spotter certification! The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska Emergency Management will host Storm Spotter Training with the National Weather Service. Staff, tribal members, community members, and first responders are encouraged to sign up to attend.
Registration is free and open to 40 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
