The revisions are being considered because the Law & Justice Committee wants to ensure that the numbering of the Code is uniform throughout the Code.
The revisions to Title 2 that are being considered include but are not limited to the following:
- Changing the format from Rules to Sections to conform to the Code
- Added a Section on Waiver of Service, Sealing and Unsealing Court Records, and Burdens of Proof; Standards of Review, Standard of Review, and Certifications of Question of Law
- Requires legal counsel to file a notice of appearance or file a pleading or motion
- Expanded the section on Motions and Stay or Injunction Pending Appeal
