Tribal Council will be accepting applications for the Powwow Committee due to two terms expiring.
The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska Powwow Committee is in place to plan, organize, prepare for, facilitate, and host the Annual Ponca Powwow and Restoration Powwow.
Committee members are paid a $250 stipend per meeting plus mileage reimbursement up to 410 miles round trip.
Applicants must submit letter of interest, resume, and required application form to the Tribal Council, Attn: Candace Repenning, P.O. Box 288, Niobrara, NE 68760 or by e-mail crepenning@poncatribe-ne.gov. A background check is required. Deadline for applications is September 1, 2026.
